| I went for a walk on the beach with my father one late afternoon. I paused to stare out at the incoming waves. I then glanced back at my father. In that moment, I could see the burden of all the previous years weighing on his shoulders. I hesitated, my heart dropped in my chest. I faltered for moment. Then carried on. For with all of life's hardships, that is all one really can do. Carry on. |
